Electronic Hardware Design Engineer

Salary: $75,000–$156,000 base salary per year

What you will do

• Translate project and system requirements into well-defined electronic hardware architectures with cross-functional teams.
• Design, build, debug, and test prototypes and deliverable hardware, including printed circuit boards and analog and digital circuits.
• Develop circuit designs, perform simulations and physical layouts, and verify designs through testing.
• Prepare manufacturing documentation and provide continuous hardware support throughout planning, design, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
• Research innovative solutions and collaborate with engineers, partners, and project leadership to deliver reliable and cost-effective products.
• Document design decisions, project progress, and issue resolution in technical reports and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in electronic design and the ability to write detailed design specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a thorough understanding of engineering theories and procedures.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
