Electrical Engineer (Medical Devices)

Location: Onsite in Westford, Massachusetts, United States.

Salary: $53,580–$122,400 gross annual base compensation.

What you will do

• Design, update, and sustain electronic hardware for end-of-life and sustaining engineering projects.
• Develop and modify schematics using Altium Designer and related electronic design tools.
• Coordinate prototype builds and design implementation with third-party manufacturers.
• Manage priorities and deliverables across multiple concurrent engineering projects.
• Conduct design reviews, troubleshooting, and technical investigations to resolve hardware issues.
• Support compliance and certification testing while collaborating with R&D, quality, manufacturing, and regulatory teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of electrical design experience in product development or sustaining engineering.
• Experience with schematic capture tools and electronic circuit design.
• Knowledge of PCB design, prototyping, and electrical test methodologies.
• Experience supporting hardware development through design, prototyping, and testing.
• Ability to work onsite in Westford, Massachusetts.

Nice to have

• Professional experience with Altium Designer.
• Medical device industry experience.
• Familiarity with compliance testing and regulatory requirements.
