TL;DR
Data Scientist (Insurance): Developing analytical solutions, statistical models, data pipelines, dashboards, and AI agents for insurance and operational challenges with an accent on machine learning, data visualization, and reusable Python code. Focus on building robust datasets and codebases, enabling departments to access actionable data, and improving quality and efficiency through AI tools.
Location: Blackrock, Ireland; occasional travel to other Zurich locations may be required.

What you will do
- Develop analytical solutions and statistical or machine learning models for business departments.
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, datasets, and reusable codebases for management information, dashboards, and advanced analytics.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that turn company data into actionable insights.
- Create solutions that help departments access the data required for their work.
- Develop and maintain AI agents and tools to improve quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Economics, or Finance.
- Strong coding skills, preferably in Python, with experience writing clean, reusable, well-structured code.
- Experience or strong interest in statistical modelling and machine learning, including regression, tree-based methods, time-series forecasting, clustering, or segmentation.
- Experience with data-visualization tools, preferably Tableau.
- Experience with AI tools, preferably Microsoft Copilot Studio.
