What you will do
- Collect and process large-scale datasets across text, audio, and image modalities.
- Design, implement, and optimize highly efficient parallel data processing pipelines.
- Run rigorous experimental ablations and hypothesis tests to measure data improvements.
- Prototype ideas quickly and contribute to large pre-existing codebases.
- Collaborate across research and engineering teams to deliver scalable data systems.
Requirements
- Experience collecting, handling, and processing large datasets.
- Proficiency with Python and PyTorch.
- Experience with parallel Python frameworks such as Dask.
- Understanding of multimodal dataset curation and large-scale parallel data processing.
- Strong experimental methodology, including rigorous ablations and hypothesis testing.
- Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, EE/EECS, Mathematics, Physics, Machine Learning, or a related scientific field; published machine learning research is expected.
