Business Systems Analyst (Health Insurance)

Location: Working from home in Pennsylvania; US citizenship required

What you will do

• Work with customers, software engineers, architects, capability managers, and other stakeholders to define capability needs and develop business solutions.
• Create and maintain business vision documents, requirements, client-specific personalization, and user interface design deliverables.
• Participate in Agile software development teams in roles such as business technical analyst, Scrum Master, capability manager, UI designer, or tester.
• Plan and support requirements testing, including test scenarios, documentation, defect management, and analysis of customer impact.
• Provide production support by troubleshooting user issues, analyzing root causes, and delivering corrective solutions.
• Lead requirements walkthroughs and sprint reviews, communicate project status, enable vendor solutions, and maintain accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in information systems or IT.
• Strong SQL, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Experience with production support, customer issue resolution, ticketing systems, and accurate technical documentation.
• US citizenship is required due to contractual and access requirements.

Nice to have

• Lean/Six Sigma experience.
• Health insurance or healthcare industry experience.
• ITIL, TOGAF, Six Sigma, or PMP certification.
• Agile project management experience.
