QA Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and execute parallelized Playwright and TypeScript E2E smoke and regression suites in GitLab CI.
• Establish automated API schema and contract testing for GraphQL and REST/JSON:API services.
• Integrate Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini into test generation, mock-data creation, and log triage workflows.
• Audit Figma specifications, UX flows, API contracts, and pull requests to identify defects before development and release.
• Monitor CI health, Sentry errors, GCP Cloud Run logs, and network profiles to isolate frontend, backend, database, and integration issues.
• Test asynchronous messaging workflows and perform component and visual regression testing with Vitest and Storybook.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional web QA engineering or test automation experience, including at least 1 year using AI coding tools.
• Strong experience with Playwright or Cypress/Selenium using TypeScript or JavaScript for E2E, visual regression, and cross-browser testing.
• Practical GraphQL and REST/JSON:API testing experience with Bruno, Postman, or scripted test collections.
• Experience with Nuxt/Vue DOM inspection, Figma design specifications, browser DevTools, and network profiling.
• Experience integrating automated tests into Git/GitLab CI pipelines and configuring HTML or JUnit reporters.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; clear written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Experience generating Page Object Models and edge-case scenarios with AI models using architecture specifications, schemas, and UI design tokens.
• TypeScript, Vue 3, Nuxt, Vitest, and Storybook experience.
• Experience testing Twilio webhooks, SMS/RCS workflows, or generative AI and LLM integrations.
• Exposure to Docker, GCP Cloud Run, GCP Cloud Build, and Unleash feature flags.
• Quality engineering, web testing, or AI-assisted software engineering certifications.
