What you will do

• Set quality and automation strategy across multiple platform portfolios, including performance, accessibility, and AI quality testing.
• Define scalable QE standards, test architecture, automation patterns, governance, release-readiness criteria, and quality metrics.
• Lead QE managers, senior engineers, technical leads, and contractors while building the next layer of engineering leadership.
• Partner with senior engineering and product leaders on hiring, capability planning, career development, and quality reporting.
• Build an AI-led QE center of expertise covering test design, script generation, defect triage, exploratory testing, and intelligent test execution.
• Champion Playwright and TypeScript automation and evaluate AI quality tooling and architectural decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of quality engineering experience and 6+ years of people leadership, including management of managers.
• Experience leading multiple portfolios or programs and managing blended teams of employees and contractors.
• Hands-on ability to read Playwright tests, evaluate automation frameworks, and review architectural decisions.
• Proven experience mentoring senior engineers, technical leads, and managers into expanded leadership roles.
• Must be located in an approved United States jurisdiction; visa sponsorship is unavailable.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI-driven QE frameworks for test generation, intelligent triage, or autonomous test maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with LLM evaluation frameworks such as Ragas, DeepEval, Promptfoo, LangSmith, or Giskard.
• Experience integrating GenAI assistants such as Cursor, Copilot, or Claude into QE workflows.
