QA Engineer II (AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and execute exploratory, manual, and automated tests for web, mobile, and API functionality.
• Direct AI agents and MCP-based tools such as Playwright MCP to create and execute automated test scripts.
• Create and maintain functional, regression, performance, and integration test plans.
• Implement and improve CI/CD testing pipelines, analyze failures, triage flaky tests, and optimize regression coverage.
• Track defects in Jira and collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and align coverage with product requirements.
• Run AI-focused experiments to improve test maintenance, root-cause analysis, locator refresh, and squad efficiency.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in QA or software testing with a focus on test automation.
• Proficiency with Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress and at least one scripting language such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing and MCP-based test generation and execution, including Maestro MCP or Playwright MCP.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, defect tracking, automated testing frameworks, and API testing.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and frameworks such as Jenkins or GitLab.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills; a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience refining AI prompts and constraints, supervising agentic workflows, and turning successful AI workflows into reusable assets.
• Experience in fast-paced agile environments and a demonstrated interest in learning new testing tools and techniques.
