Senior QA Engineer (Fullstack)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end quality strategy for web applications, APIs, data flows, permissions, integrations, and AWS-backed services from design through release.
• Build and maintain scalable browser automation with Playwright and TypeScript for high-value user flows.
• Validate backend APIs and investigate complex system behavior using browser diagnostics, API payloads, SQL records, cloud logs, and downstream workflows.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and maintain risk-based quality gates.
• Use generative AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot for test scenario generation, refactoring, and log analysis while validating their output.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Quality Engineering experience, including at least 3 years with web applications, APIs, and backend-driven workflows.
• Strong practical experience with Playwright and TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Deep experience testing API-driven workflows with tools such as Postman or Bruno.
• Strong SQL skills for validating data persistence, schema mappings, and workflow states.
• Practical experience with AWS, CloudWatch, and observability platforms such as Datadog, Kibana, or Sentry.
• Solid familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, plus excellent written and verbal English communication.

Nice to have

• Experience testing non-deterministic or event-driven systems, queues, asynchronous data pipelines, or basic LLM/AI workflows.
• Familiarity with cross-browser testing platforms such as BrowserStack.
• Experience in customer-critical, operationally sensitive, or high-impact domains.
