Location: On-site in Los Angeles, CA; facility based in Hawthorne

Salary: $90,000–$130,000 per year, plus stock options

What you will do

  • Manage the daily flow of complex metal 3D-printed parts through post-processing and monitor throughput.
  • Evaluate rework, deformation, and nonconformances against engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.
  • Communicate part status, rework decisions, and deviations to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support testing and inspection activities before shipment.
  • Work with manufacturing development engineers to identify recurring process, tooling, and fixturing issues.
  • Maintain production tracking and documentation while helping resolve factory bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or a related engineering field.
  • Internship or professional experience in manufacturing, production, or quality engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with hand tools, machinery, or complex hardware assembly.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and communicate clearly with customers about technical topics.

Nice to have

  • 2+ years of hands-on production, manufacturing, or quality engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T and drawing interpretation.
  • Experience with metal additive manufacturing, machining, or precision post-processing.
  • Experience evaluating nonconformances, rework, or part deformation.
  • Familiarity with MRP/ERP tools, production tracking systems, and customer-facing manufacturing work.
