QCS Service Engineer (Automation)

Location: Karlstad, Sweden; candidates may also be based in Örnsköldsvik or Umeå, with regular travel to customer sites across Scandinavia.

What you will do

• Provide service and technical support for hirify.global IQ QCS systems, including remote support when required.
• Own customer service cases from initial investigation through resolution and documentation.
• Plan and execute service visits, including preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Drive system optimization and performance improvement initiatives.
• Participate in new deliveries, system extensions, modernization, and upgrade projects.
• Collaborate with Scandinavian colleagues, product teams in Tampere, Finland, and the global Operations Network.

Requirements

• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience in industrial automation or QCS.
• Experience with QCS systems; hirify.global IQ knowledge is advantageous.
• Process knowledge and experience in the pulp and paper industry.
• Knowledge of process tuning and system configuration.
• Strong communication, customer service, organization, prioritization, and independent decision-making skills.
• Fluent Swedish and English, a valid B driver's license, and willingness to travel within Scandinavia are required.
