Deburr Technician (Additive Manufacturing)

Location: Los Angeles, CA; full-time onsite presence in Hawthorne five days per week is required

What you will do

• Post-process metal 3D printed parts through depowdering, precision cleaning, support removal, and surface finishing.
• Operate, maintain, and monitor wire EDMs, surface grinders, sand blasters, deburring tools, bandsaws, and other equipment.
• Handle metal powders and help ensure tools, equipment, and supplies are available for build turnover.
• Participate in process improvements that streamline post-processing for mass production.
• Assist with visual inspection and shipment of completed parts.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in deburring, metal additive manufacturing post-processing, or similar hands-on precision metal work.
• Ability to work with complex geometries and tight tolerances.
• Ability to work onsite in Hawthorne five days per week, with very limited exceptions.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted and remain on feet or climb ladders for extended periods.
• Availability and willingness to work overtime when needed.

Nice to have

• Experience operating complex equipment.
• Manual machining, welding, cutting, fitting, or bending of stainless steel, aluminum, or high-strength nickel alloys.
• Experience using power tools, hand tools, cranes, forklifts, or other heavy equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
