AM Operations Technician (Additive Manufacturing)

Pay range: $27–$37 USD per hour

Divergent develops the Divergent Adaptive Production System, an end-to-end manufacturing platform using machine learning, additive manufacturing, and flexible assembly for automotive, aerospace, and defense applications.

What you will do

• Maintain housekeeping standards and a clean, safe, efficient production environment.
• Report and respond to spills, leaks, system failures, and abnormal material accumulations.
• Stop work and escalate conditions that create uncontrolled hazards.
• Procure, maintain, and use approved cleaning equipment, tools, and vacuum systems.
• Maintain segregation between incompatible materials and prevent powder migration between designated areas.
• Complete routine inspections and document housekeeping activities.

Requirements

• Ability to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls.
• Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of housekeeping practices and cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, dependability, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Respectful, professional, team-oriented approach with the ability to support and mentor peers.

Nice to have

• At least one year of experience in additive manufacturing, manufacturing, or housekeeping.
• Experience in aerospace or automotive additive manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, OSHA regulations, EHS requirements, and hazardous-material handling.
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment, routine inspections, LOTO, or confined-space safety programs.
