Manufacturing Product Finishing Operator (Aerospace)

Salary: $20.00–$30.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform bench and machine operations including cleaning, polishing, deburring, edge breaking, radius forming, defect blending, and removal of excess material and contamination.
• Work from operation sheets, blueprints, sketches, and plastic bodies to plan the full work sequence.
• Select, sharpen, and create special tooling, as well as select lighting aids, inspection gauges, and visual magnification equipment.
• Finish and detail small parts while maintaining required quality and quantity standards.
• Visually inspect completed work, identify material or workmanship abnormalities, and respond appropriately.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or the ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer-based instructions in English.
• At least 3 months of deburring or finishing experience, preferably in an aerospace machine shop environment.
• Fine motor skills, strong visual acuity, excellent eye-hand coordination, and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to perform basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Basic computer skills, including Windows, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work onsite in Torrance, California.
