EDM Machinist - 3rd Shift (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, New York, United States

Salary: $32.00–$37.00 per hour, plus a 10% third-shift differential.

What you will do

• Set up EDM machines for production and prototype components.
• Select electrode sizes and configurations and define EDM operation sequences when documentation is unavailable.
• Verify setups against operation sheets, engineering drawings, and close-tolerance requirements.
• Establish machining parameters, operate EDM equipment, and regrind electrodes using a surface grinder.
• Use inspection equipment to identify defects, uneven electrode wear, and other unusual conditions.
• Train and monitor EDM operators while supporting machine transfers and setup adjustments.

Requirements

• At least four years of experience as a diversified machinist.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer-based work instructions or training in English.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations.
• Participation in the company FAA Drug & Alcohol Program is required for this safety-sensitive position.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information is required.
