Clinical Psychotherapist

Location: Remote within the United States; Alabama, Birmingham, Huntsville, Mobile, and Montgomery listed

Salary: $70,000 base with up to $20,000 in incentives; $70,000–$90,000 total compensation

What you will do

• Provide 100% remote outpatient therapy for lower- to moderate-acuity conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, and OCD.
• Conduct 60-minute intake and follow-up sessions.
• Manage a consistent outpatient caseload with defined and transparent goals.
• Make independent treatment decisions using evidence-based clinical approaches.
• Coordinate referrals with in-house psychiatrists.
• Practice independently with access to clinical leadership for consultation and support.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted independent license required, such as LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or equivalent.
• Two or more active independent state licenses required, except for clinicians licensed in California, New York, or Massachusetts.
• Experience managing a consistent outpatient caseload.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and independent decision-making skills.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced but sustainable outpatient environment.
• This role is not intended for clinicians seeking supervision toward licensure or building a self-directed 1099/private practice.

Nice to have

• Experience in outpatient, community mental health, hospital, IOP, PHP, or other structured clinical settings.
• Experience with structured, skills-based modalities such as CBT, ACT, MI, or DBT-informed care.
