What you will do

• Conduct individual alcohol and drug abuse counseling sessions, group sessions, intake services, and supportive follow-up counseling.
• Assess patients’ social, educational, economic, and vocational needs and develop or revise treatment plans.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records, provide referrals, and coordinate care with community providers.
• Provide crisis intervention, inter-agency documentation, and OBOT services.
• Orient patients to treatment procedures, support program implementation, and assist with caseload management.
• Participate in regulatory training, staff development, conferences, meetings, and community activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in human services or a related field.
• CADC or LCDP certification is required.
• Knowledge of substance abuse treatment, treatment planning, human behavior, and social services.
• Ability to make effective decisions, use sound judgment, and handle confidential and sensitive matters.
• Ability to respond appropriately in stressful situations and seek supervisory direction when needed.
• Compliance with applicable federal and state certification, licensure, degree, and regulatory requirements.
