Company

hirify.global develops AI-native manufacturing systems that integrate software, hardware, and physics to produce industrial-scale metal parts through automated 3D printing.

What you will do

  • Develop high-performance numerical solvers for advanced metal 3D printing systems.
  • Implement physics-based and data-driven simulation models for real-time or near-real-time execution on HPC, GPU, and FPGA platforms.
  • Integrate low-level solvers into simulation pipelines and interface them with hardware systems.
  • Guide computational geometry and meshing techniques for large-scale physics-driven simulations.
  • Architect simulation modules and contribute to model-predictive control strategies with control engineers.
  • Document algorithms, solvers, and integrated systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics, physics, computer science, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field, or an equivalent master’s degree or PhD pathway.
  • 5+ years of professional experience with a bachelor’s degree, 2+ years with a master’s degree, or a PhD in a relevant field instead of industry experience.
  • Experience writing low-level numerical solvers for physical simulations.
  • Strong programming skills in C, C++, or CUDA.
  • Experience developing simulations in high-performance computing environments, including GPUs.
  • Academic or professional familiarity with solid mechanics, continuum mechanics, or related physical modeling domains.

Nice to have

  • MS or PhD in a relevant technical discipline.
  • Experience with real-time or near-real-time GPU or parallel computing simulations and direct numerical simulation models.
  • Experience with thermo-elastic or thermo-elastoplastic modeling, computational geometry, meshing libraries, or 2D/3D meshing tools.
  • Experience with data-driven and hybrid physics/data simulation methods, optimization, or control theory.
  • Strong numerical analysis, first-principles problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.

Culture & Benefits

  • Inclusive, diverse culture focused on collaboration, learning, and data-driven decisions.
  • Significant stock option package and employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Life insurance, traditional and Roth 401(k), paid vacation, sick leave, company holidays, and paid parental leave.
  • Relocation assistance, flexible work hours, catered meals, and regular team-building events.
