TL;DR

hirify.global4d is building an AI copilot for hardware designers and engineers, combining text, image, 3D geometry, machine learning, physics modeling, and geometry-processing pipelines.

What you will do

  • Design, implement, and optimize geometry import, repair, parameterization, mesh refinement and coarsening, adaptation, and quality-improvement algorithms.
  • Build surface and volume mesh-generation pipelines for structured and unstructured quad, hex, tri, and tet meshes.
  • Process geometry and mesh datasets containing hundreds of millions of points or cells with strong performance and memory efficiency.
  • Prepare CAD and B-Rep geometry for meshing, preserving complex topologies and features for simulation.
  • Optimize CPU/GPU execution and integrate geometry systems with ML, physics simulation, and UI/UX workflows.

Requirements

  • Strong software engineering and algorithm implementation skills in modern C++ and/or Python.
  • Experience writing, profiling, and optimizing high-performance code for CPU/GPU execution and memory efficiency.
  • Relevant experience in computational geometry, graphics, simulation, or another numerically intensive domain.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with mesh generation, triangulation, tetrahedral, hex, or quad meshing, mesh adaptation, and quality metrics.
  • Experience with CUDA, OpenCL, HPC, multithreading, or distributed computing.
  • Experience with STEP, IGES, B-Rep, or geometry kernels such as Parasolid, ACIS, and OpenCASCADE.
  • Background in physics simulation.
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
