Senior Software Engineer (Experimentation)

Location: Seattle HQ, United States; hybrid

Salary: $180,000–$210,000 base pay per year, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Build, scale, and harden experimentation infrastructure supporting company-wide A/B testing.
• Improve experiment throughput, cycle times, instrumentation quality, and test validity.
• Identify and resolve high-impact issues across the experimentation stack.
• Evaluate experimentation and data-governance tools, build consensus, and define technical standards.
• Partner with Product and Data Science to turn hypotheses into measurable experiments and trusted metrics.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and raise engineering rigor across the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with TypeScript, React, Python, and FastAPI or comparable stacks.
• Hands-on experience designing or running A/B tests or experimentation systems.
• Comfort with SQL and direct work with product and analytics data.
• End-to-end ownership of systems and experience mentoring other engineers.
• Visa support or sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Experience building experimentation or feature-flagging infrastructure from scratch.
• Background in growth engineering or product analytics.
• Familiarity with data-governance practices and metric-definition frameworks.
• Experience in a high-growth startup environment.
