Product Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Build the applied AI layer and product tools that turn foundation models into software for drug designers.
• Develop interactive rendering for large molecular structures without dropping frames.
• Design interfaces that help scientists reason alongside AI models.
• Turn complex scientific workflows into fast, elegant, and repeatable product experiences.
• Work closely with researchers, scientists, partner-facing teams, and customers.
• Translate customer and scientific needs into engineering work while iterating based on product data.

Requirements

• 2+ years building and owning production products end to end.
• Experience with modern frameworks and technologies including React or Vue, TypeScript, and a Node, Go, or Python backend.
• Strong focus on minimal, effective code and pixel-level product craft.
• Fluency with automated testing, CI/CD, and monitoring for 24/7 services.
• Ability to explain technical tradeoffs to non-engineers and understand customer needs.

Nice to have

• Prior exposure to enterprise or scientific software.
• Background in biology.
