Electrical Integration Technician

Location: Los Angeles, California; based in Hawthorne with full-time onsite presence five days a week

Salary: $25–$40 per hour, plus stock options

What you will do

• Assemble and wire industrial control cabinets and enclosures from electrical drawings.
• Build power distribution, machine safety circuits, motor drives, controllers, I/O, and networking systems.
• Fabricate, route, terminate, and test cable harnesses, shielded cabling, copper Ethernet, EtherCAT, and fiber connections.
• Support motor, servo, and drive bring-up, including mounting, wiring, power-up, and fault diagnosis.
• Test and validate cabinets and assemblies using continuity, insulation resistance, and functional power-up testing.
• Install, commission, maintain, and repair electro-mechanical systems and additive manufacturing lines.

Requirements

• 2+ years of electrical integration experience in an industrial production, controls, or panel-build environment.
• Experience wiring and assembling control panels and cabinets with terminal blocks, DIN rail, and ferrules.
• Knowledge of power distribution, low-voltage wiring, grounding, and bonding.
• Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and panel layouts.
• Experience building cables and harnesses.
• Proficiency with electrical test instruments, including digital multimeters, power supplies, insulation testers, and continuity testers.

Nice to have

• Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools, power tools, cranes, forklifts, or other heavy equipment.
• Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, servo drives, VFDs, UL 508A panels, or industrial networking.
• High-voltage electrical work license.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and remain on foot for extended periods.
• Availability to work overtime when needed.
