Electrical Engineer, Wire Harness & Electrical Integration

What you will do

• Design wire harness architectures, cable assemblies, and wiring solutions for robotic and complex electromechanical systems.
• Integrate sensors, computing systems, actuators, power electronics, and power distribution across autonomous defense platforms.
• Create wiring diagrams, pinout documentation, harness drawings, and electrical schematics for prototype and production systems.
• Select connectors and cables, and define shielding, grounding, routing, strain relief, and mechanical protection strategies.
• Support hardware bring-up, troubleshooting, testing, and validation of harnesses and integrated electrical systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, electrical, manufacturing, and technician teams on prototype builds and quality verification.

Requirements

• 2–5+ years of electrical engineering experience with hands-on wire harness, cable assembly, or electrical interconnect design.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Experience producing electrical drawings, harness documentation, wiring diagrams, and system-level electrical documentation.
• Knowledge of connectors, shielding, grounding, cable management, and integration of sensors, computers, power systems, and actuators.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, or logic analyzers.
• Experience with robotic, aerospace, automotive, or defense hardware and MIL-STD or other high-reliability manufacturing practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with Zuken E3, Mentor Graphics/Capital Harness, RapidHarness, Altium, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar electrical CAD tools.
• Experience with robotics, autonomous systems, ruggedized hardware, or defense platforms.
• Knowledge of signal integrity, noise management, grounding, shielding, and power distribution.
• Experience in rapid hardware prototyping from concept through field testing.
