Principal Product Technical Leader

Location: Hybrid, Andover, Massachusetts, United States. Occasional domestic and international travel and off-hour support may be required.

Annual base salary: $124,400–$207,400, plus a 17.5% bonus target and eligibility for a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Define portfolio philosophy, product strategy, and long-range technical direction.
• Represent the site in network governance forums and cross-functional teams while mentoring junior staff.
• Lead complex site and network initiatives, project execution, issue resolution, and strategic decision-making.
• Own product lifecycle management, control strategy governance, validated-state compliance, risk management, and regulatory strategy alignment.
• Improve product supply reliability through process robustness, cost-of-goods optimization, loss reduction, and manufacturability initiatives.
• Lead troubleshooting, investigations, inspection readiness, and continuous improvement for commercial and clinical product portfolios.

Requirements

• BA/BS and 6+ years of experience, or MBA/MS and 5+ years of experience.
• Project management experience and a record of leading complex projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate across business functions and develop plans to achieve objectives.
• Experience with mathematical calculations, scientific computation, complex data analysis, and technical problem solving.
• Must have permanent authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• 12+ years of relevant pharmaceutical experience.
• Experience with negotiations, presentations, matrix organizations, and continuous improvement using DAMIC/Six Sigma tools.
• Knowledge of biopharmaceutical technology transfer and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with regulatory submission strategy, audit responses, and technical discussions with health authorities.
