Senior Manager, Operations (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Opelika, Alabama, United States. The role operates in a 24/7 manufacturing environment and requires domestic and international travel approximately 1–2 times per year. Immigration sponsorship and support are not available, including Form I-983 training plan support for STEM OPT.

Salary: $140,000–$234,000 national target base pay. The target range is $156,000–$260,000 for candidates in California and the New York metropolitan area. Additional compensation may include an annual performance bonus, medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and wellness benefits.

What you will do

• Lead two or three strategic operations departments and manage performance across safety, quality, productivity, and financial metrics.
• Develop short- and mid-term operating plans, priorities, budgets, and management systems that deliver sustainable results.
• Lead a positive, inclusive culture across a multi-shift, 24/7 operation while coaching leaders and developing employees.
• Partner with planning, scheduling, Supply Chain, Quality, R&D, and other manufacturing functions to improve production reliability.
• Implement Lean, Six Sigma, manufacturing best practices, new technologies, and capital investments.
• Own tableting supply chain implementation, packaging capacity planning, reliability improvements, and Career Path Progression across the Opelika site.

Requirements

• Four-year degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in a top-tier company.
• Experience in Supply Chain functions such as Planning, Engineering, Technical Operations, Operational Excellence, or Sourcing.
• Comprehensive knowledge of SOPs and cGMPs in a related manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with process improvement methodologies, manufacturing technologies, and capital investments.
• Strong strategic thinking, financial acumen, judgment, communication, collaboration, and people leadership skills.
