Operations Shift Leader (Nights) (Manufacturing Operations): Leading safe, stable night-shift production operations in a regulated consumer packaged goods facility with an accent on team leadership, operational performance, and continuous improvement. Focus on coordinating cross-department execution, resolving production and quality issues, developing frontline leaders, and maintaining performance across a 2-2-3 shift rotation.
Location: Onsite in Opelika, Alabama, United States. Must work 6:00 pm to 6:30 am on a 2-2-3 shift rotation. This role does not provide immigration sponsorship or support, including Form I-983 STEM OPT training plans.
Salary: $80,000–$133,000 annual base pay. California and New York metro candidates may receive a target range of $88,000–$146,000.

What you will do
- Lead safe, stable shift operations and set priorities across departments.
- Drive daily KPIs including OEE, schedule adherence, changeovers, throughput, and yield.
- Coordinate work assignments, equipment changeovers, production records, and audit readiness.
- Troubleshoot operational and quality issues and coordinate emergency responses.
- Coach department leaders, train mentors, and develop a cross-trained workforce.
- Lead root-cause problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives with maintenance, quality, and supply chain.
Requirements
- Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- At least six years of manufacturing or consumer packaged goods experience, including supervisory or leadership experience.
- Knowledge of SOPs and cGMPs in a regulated CPG environment.
- Experience leading improvement initiatives, Kaizen events, coaching, auditing, and sustaining procedures.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and escalation-management skills.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems, with the ability to work primarily in an office and regularly on the production floor.

- Six Sigma or Lean/Continuous Improvement certification and experience.
- JD Edwards and Power BI experience.
