Project Development Associate I (EV Charging)

Location: Beverly, MA, United States; hybrid with approximately 20% travel

Company

Develops and delivers fleet electrification projects, including electric vehicle charging depot infrastructure.

What you will do

• Support senior project development staff in defining fleet electrification scopes, timelines, budgets, and equipment selections.
• Work with engineering teams on complex EV charging depot designs that include solar and battery storage.
• Estimate engineering, construction, and utility interconnection costs for project budgets.
• Coordinate site diligence covering real estate, zoning, permitting, and other development restrictions.
• Support utility service requests, permitting requirements, engineering deliverables, schedules, budgets, and subcontractor deliverables.
• Support project handoff to implementation teams after customer contract execution and contribute to scoping methodology improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or at least four years of directly related professional experience.
• Experience with electric utilities, including interconnection or new service requests, is preferred.
• Exposure to electric vehicle charging, renewable energy, or related clean energy technologies is preferred.
• Experience in electrical engineering, construction, infrastructure project development, permitting authorities having jurisdiction, or project management is preferred.
