Field Service Electrician (Solar and Battery Storage)

Location: McCarran, Nevada, United States; frequent weekly travel to field locations is required.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components in solar and battery storage systems.
• Perform inspections and routine maintenance on solar panels, inverters, battery storage units, and associated electrical systems.
• Install, test, and commission electrical equipment for solar and battery system projects.
• Manage field electrical projects and oversee contractors and third-party work.
• Create standard work instructions for electrical field service tasks and respond to daily work requests.
• Work with operations teams to support growth and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, preferably in solar or battery storage.
• Valid electrician’s license, such as Journeyman or Master Electrician, according to state requirements.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems; experience with medium-voltage systems up to 35 kV is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as NABCEP, OSHA 10/30, or NFPA 70E are relevant to the role.
• Ability to use electrical tools and diagnostic equipment and to work independently in the field.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., climb stairs, bend, stand, stoop, and communicate clearly by telephone.
