Director, Health and Welfare Benefits (Versant Media)

Location: New York, NY, USA; hybrid with a minimum of three office days per week

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 annually, plus bonus and long-term incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Lead the clinical engagement strategy for healthcare programs, increasing preventive and primary care utilization and supporting chronic condition management.
• Review engagement, navigation services, health plan utilization, outcomes, and cost drivers to identify strategic priorities.
• Guide vendor partners and service providers on strategic roadmaps, product development, integrations, and operational performance.
• Develop benefit recommendations, business cases, employee communications, change-management materials, metrics, and dashboards.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, administration, consultant relationships, and service-provider negotiations for physical wellbeing programs.
• Supervise analysts supporting healthcare engagement strategy, leave of absence, and escalations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with benefits strategy, employee engagement, health outcomes, vendor management, and financial planning.
• People leadership experience and the ability to exercise independent judgment in significant matters.
• Ability to work from the New York office at least three days per week and attend in-person interviews when required.
• Availability for nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary.
