Vice President, Global Benefits (Fintech)

Location: US - Austin, TX; office-based position. Travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $222,500–$360,000 USD per year, with potential bonus and equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Define and execute the global benefits and wellbeing strategy, balancing enterprise standards with regional flexibility and compliance.
• Lead governance, risk management, audits, fiduciary oversight, regulatory monitoring, and cross-functional compliance activities.
• Manage financial planning, forecasting, investments, operating expenditures, and enterprise workforce investment decisions.
• Oversee benefits operations, service delivery, technology modernization, analytics, automation, and performance measurement.
• Direct vendor selection, contract negotiations, partner governance, and relationships with insurers, consultants, healthcare partners, and retirement providers.
• Advise senior leadership on benefits strategy and lead benefits workstreams for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• 12+ years of work experience with a bachelor's degree, 10+ years with an advanced degree, or 8+ years with a PhD.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in global benefits, total rewards, People functions, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience leading complex global programs across multiple regions and regulatory environments.
• Proven ability to develop enterprise-level strategies and operating models, manage large budgets, and evaluate investments and business cases.
• Experience influencing executive leaders, leading organizational transformation, and building high-performing global teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, executive presentation, and cross-functional partnership skills.
