Fire Engineer (Fire Protection Engineering)

What you will do

• Prepare fire strategies for a wide range of buildings using ADB, BS9999, BS9991, BS7974, HTM Guidance, BB100, and related standards.
• Lead technical fire engineering projects.
• Manage medium and large projects, including fee proposals and invoicing.
• Act as a technical expert and primary point of contact for clients.
• Lead discussions with design teams, building control, and fire services.
• Attend industry conferences and follow emerging trends and best practices.

Requirements

• Background in fire engineering, preferably in a consultancy environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ideally working toward Chartered Engineer status.
