ASIC Design Engineers (ASIC)

What you will do

• Design, develop, implement, integrate, and verify hardware modules for ARTPEC SoC chips.
• Develop advanced digital ASICs with hardware acceleration for surveillance camera functions.
• Integrate internal and third-party IP blocks into robust system architectures.
• Investigate new methodologies and contribute to ASIC development flows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineers and share technical knowledge through study circles and workshops.

Requirements

• Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, engineering physics, or a similar field.
• Proven experience in digital ASIC design and advanced ASIC development.
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog, scripting languages such as Python or TCL, and EDA tools such as Synopsys, Cadence, or Siemens EDA.
• Strong understanding of digital logic design, microarchitecture, computer architecture, and ASIC design flows.
• Experience with low-power design, clock/reset domain crossing, synchronization methods, and third-party IP such as ARM, Synopsys, or Cadence.
• Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and continuous-improvement skills.
