Ic Design Engineer

Location

Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our Santa Clara, CA headquarters 3-5 days per week.

Salary: $165K – $265K per year

What you will do

• Perform pre-silicon power estimation of design blocks including RTL and physical design.
• Collaborate with frontend and DV engineers to identify power activity windows and optimize power usage.
• Build architectural power estimation tools for AI workloads based on system configuration and die metrics.
• Work with architects and backend design to analyze performance monitor availability and system requirements.
• Integrate analysis feedback into design and participate in silicon bring-up and validation.
• Design micro-architecture, RTL, synthesis, and verify power performance using leading CAD tools and semiconductor technologies.

Requirements

• Location: Must work onsite in Santa Clara, CA with hybrid schedule.
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Strong understanding of IC design flow, power estimation, performance metrics, and ASIC design.
• Experience with RTL, physical design, logic synthesis, and power estimation EDA tools.
• Programming skills in TCL and Python with experience in scripting and automation.
• Self-motivated with ability to work across RTL, physical design, and automation tasks.
