TL;DR
Process Engineer (Manufacturing and Opto-Mechatronics): Developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for opto-mechatronic products and systems with an accent on industrialisation, process validation, production readiness, and compliance. Focus on commissioning production lines, managing PFMEA and control plans, validating throughput and measurement systems, and reducing manufacturing risks.

What you will do

  • Develop and manage industrialisation requirements with Engineering, Operations, and Production teams.
  • Design and optimize manufacturing processes, process flow diagrams, PFMEA structures, and control methodologies.
  • Support production-line, tooling, jig, fixture, and manufacturing-documentation implementation and commissioning.
  • Validate processes, throughput capability, control plans, and measurement systems during pre-production.
  • Provide production and supplier support while improving process capability, quality, equipment utilization, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • BEng degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering.
  • Experience in mechanical engineering design and analysis within a manufacturing or industrialisation environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrialisation principles.
  • Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, Measurement System Analysis, throughput and capacity analysis, and process validation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-improvement capability.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to opto-mechatronic systems.
  • Experience in a high-tech, engineering, or defence manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with DFMAS, CAPEX planning, and production-readiness support.
