Senior Process Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Zejtun, Malta

What you will do

• Lead new product launches as the factory representative throughout the product launch lifecycle.
• Develop manufacturing processes by reviewing product requirements and support product qualification for new machinery.
• Lead continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining quality standards.
• Support operations and quality with root-cause analysis to achieve yield and waste targets.
• Manage product changes through the APQP process, including FMEAs, job planning, and job closure meetings.
• Prepare trial and product costing estimates, contribute to factory budgeting, and provide process expertise for strategic and operational decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent related field.
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, lean processes, and product development requirements.
• Demonstrated competence in project management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Experience mentoring and coaching direct reports is relevant to the leadership responsibilities.
