Process Engineer (Automotive Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead the introduction of new products into mass production, ensuring manufacturability, repeatability, efficiency, and cost targets.
• Develop and maintain assembly work instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation.
• Optimize production processes, assembly sequences, tooling, and machine configurations.
• Establish quality assurance mechanisms, including PFMEAs and Control Plans.
• Drive continuous improvement by reducing downtime, improving process flow, implementing Lean practices, and developing efficient tooling.
• Support equipment reliability through inspections, calibrations, troubleshooting, repair coordination, 8D problem-solving, and cost-reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Technical vocational MBO or bachelor's HBO degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of Automotive Core Tools, including SPC, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and Control Plans.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including advising, influencing, negotiating, and relationship building.
• Proactive, confident, and solution-oriented approach with the ability to gain stakeholder support.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Dutch language skills.
• Experience programming Siemens PLCs in TIA Portal.
