Process Engineer

TL;DR

What you will do

• Monitor manufacturing processes daily to identify trends, out-of-control situations, and provide solutions.
• Lead process area for yields, documentation, procedures, data tracking, and technical innovation.
• Perform root cause analysis on trends, equipment issues, and process drifts.
• Develop and maintain performance indicators to meet quality and productivity targets.
• Collaborate with operators, technicians, and other departments for training, problem-solving, and process stability.
• Lead improvement and cost reduction projects, implement process changes, and contribute to global process control team.

Requirements

• B.S. in Engineering (Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, Glass Science, Ceramic, or Metallurgical) from ABET accredited institution.
• Minimum 1 year experience in complex manufacturing or relevant internship.
• Ability to understand complex process flow and machinery; multi-task, prioritize, and work independently.
• Strong communication, presentation, organizational skills; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with large data sets, data-driven and analytical decisions.
• Comfortable in multidisciplinary teams, high-pressure situations, and continuous improvement culture.

Nice to have

• 3-5 years in complex manufacturing.
• M.S. in relevant engineering fields.
• Experience with statistical tools like Minitab or SAS.
