Supply Chain and Procurement Manager (Robotics)

What you will do

• Own sourcing strategy and supplier execution across the full robot bill of materials, including actuators, motors, gearboxes, sensors, compute modules, PCBAs, harnesses, and mechanical assemblies.
• Establish supplier selection, capacity planning, dual-sourcing, risk mitigation, and supplier performance management frameworks.
• Partner with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and compute engineering teams on design for manufacturability, supply chain resilience, and cost optimization.
• Ensure material continuity, inventory accuracy, and appropriate order quantities across in-house and outsourced manufacturing.
• Develop multi-source strategies for constrained components and mitigate geopolitical and single-source risks.
• Lead contract manufacturer selection, qualification, onboarding, operational scaling, and production ramp activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business, operations, or a related field; an MBA is acceptable.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management for hardware products.
• Experience taking hardware products from prototype through production ramp at scale and developing or relocating supply chains.
• Direct sourcing experience with electromechanical components, PCBAs, high-performance compute systems, motors, actuators, gearboxes, sensors, and mechanical assemblies.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including BOM cost modeling, spend analysis, supplier financial research, and cost and capacity analysis.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems, inventory planning, NPI, DFM/DFA, manufacturing scale-up, and constrained components.
