TL;DR
IT Operations Specialist (Windows/IT Support): Supporting internal users and IT operations across the EU region, including service tickets, IT assets, end-user devices, applications, and workplace technologies with an accent on Windows and Mac devices, networks, telephony, and video conferencing. Focus on resolving incidents, configuring laptops, managing IT deliverables under Vodafone policies, and improving local IT processes.

What you will do
- Resolve service requests and incident tickets assigned to the IT Operations team.
- Set up and configure laptops, operating systems, applications, and other IT assets.
- Manage the repair and replacement of damaged IT assets.
- Support video conferencing, telephony, room booking, printing, and defined VOIS EU applications.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, Global Technology teams, Group IT, and Network Engineers.
- Maintain IT guidance documentation, participate in technical forums, and contribute to process improvements.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in an IT, IS Operations, or IT Support team in a multinational environment.
- Fluent English and German at C1 level.
- Strong knowledge of Windows desktop and server technologies and MacBook devices.
- Intermediate knowledge of LAN, WAN, IP networks, and related protocols.
- Experience with IT assets, technical support, troubleshooting, and ticketing systems, especially Remedy.
- Knowledge of data centers, voice networks, VoIP, contact centers, or virtualization solutions.
Nice to have
- Experience deploying IT infrastructure and contact center IP telephony products.
- Experience with remote desktop and remote desktop management solutions such as Cisco, VDI, or TeamViewer.
- Knowledge of ITIL v4.5 Foundation methodology.
