IT Operations Specialist (Fintech): Supporting distributed team members through IT helpdesk operations, endpoint management, device deployment, and secure onboarding with an accent on Linux, macOS, Windows, MDM, SaaS platforms, and cybersecurity. Focus on automating workflows, managing scalable onboarding and offboarding, securing endpoint devices, and maintaining reliable IT asset operations across North American time zones.
Location: Remote - North America; availability to cover Mountain Time or Pacific Time zones and participate in on-call rotations is required.

What you will do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT helpdesk requests and diagnose technical issues for staff.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding activities in collaboration with HR and Security.
- Set up and deploy laptops, devices, software, and other hardware.
- Manage MDM systems, including BYOD, and secure endpoint devices.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and assist with hardware shipping, receiving, procurement, and change management.
- Train staff on IT topics and support automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
- Deep expertise in Linux, macOS, and Windows system administration, including device management, patching, and operational support.
- Experience with automation workflows, SSO configurations, scalable onboarding processes, enterprise SaaS platforms, cloud-centric environments, cybersecurity, and traditional on-premises LAN/WAN environments.
- Good scripting, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluent English in written and verbal communication is required.
- Ability to cover Mountain Time or Pacific Time zones and participate in on-call and after-hours responses is required.

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- IT or security certifications.
- Understanding of financial and privacy regulations.
- Experience in financial services and the ability to balance stakeholder needs, technical feasibility, and budget constraints.
