TL;DR
Associate IT Engineer (IT Infrastructure): Managing and developing internal IT infrastructure, workstations, servers, and collaboration tools across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments with an accent on first- and second-line support, endpoint administration, and cross-platform systems. Focus on troubleshooting end-user issues, administering Active Directory, Office 365, and VMware, and evaluating and implementing new tools and technologies.
Location: Utrecht, Netherlands; full-time role with remote and hybrid work options depending on the country.

What you will do
- Provide first- and second-line IT support for internal cases through a case management system.
- Manage workstations and servers across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
- Administer web-based collaboration tools, including Office 365.
- Develop and maintain internal IT infrastructure, including Active Directory, VMware, and network management.
- Evaluate, manage, and implement new tools and technologies.
- Perform hands-on end-user desktop troubleshooting and collaborate with an international team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or relevant education in system administration or IT.
- 0–2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and workstation imaging.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments, Office 365, VMware, and Active Directory.
- Experience with end-user desktop troubleshooting and network management.
- Good command of English is required. Dutch proficiency is an advantage.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Apple macOS.
- Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Experience with service desk incident and case management systems.
