Cybersecurity Solution Architect

Location: New York City, New York; hybrid with onsite presence required from day one

Salary: $99,712–$168,716 gross annual base salary

What you will do

• Define the target architecture for a modernized VMAD platform covering applications, data, analytics, security graphs, integrations, and infrastructure.
• Assess existing architecture, data flows, integrations, processing components, databases, prioritization logic, and portals.
• Design secure data pipelines for ingestion, validation, normalization, reconciliation, deduplication, and vulnerability prioritization.
• Architect integrations with vulnerability scanners, CMDBs, asset inventories, threat intelligence platforms, Illumio, Forward Networks, and other security systems.
• Define controls for authentication, authorization, encryption, secrets management, API security, audit logging, and data protection.
• Produce architecture decision records, diagrams, integration specifications, deployment patterns, and design reviews.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture.
• Strong experience with relational databases, cloud platforms, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management, threat intelligence, attack-path analysis, exposure management, and data analytics.
• Experience designing security-data platforms, analytics solutions, or security graphs.
• Experience with Azure, Snowflake, IAM, encryption, network segmentation, secure SDLC, and DevSecOps.
• Ability to work onsite in New York City from day one in a hybrid arrangement.

Nice to have

• Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j or Amazon Neptune.
• Knowledge of OCSF-aligned security-data models and vulnerability taxonomy.
