AI Architect

Salary: $120,000–$180,000 base compensation

What you will do

• Develop highly available and fault-tolerant architectures for internal applications, technology initiatives, and consumer-facing systems.
• Lead architects and establish architecture standards, design principles, C4 models, and traditional design artifacts.
• Build and maintain scalable Python and FastAPI microservices on serverless cloud infrastructure.
• Develop AI-agent tools, guardrails, and deterministic functions for editing visual assets; integrate proprietary and third-party AI inference endpoints.
• Implement distributed workflows for high-volume orchestration using services such as EventBridge, queues, and DynamoDB Streams.
• Collaborate with clients, Engineering, and Quality Assurance from feasibility analysis and estimation through implementation and issue resolution.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience and strong SDLC and version-control knowledge.
• Expert proficiency in modern Python and experience operating services in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Practical experience integrating LLMs, including inference endpoints, context-window management, and parsing AI-generated content.
• Applied experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools, plus clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Expert knowledge of digital and broadcast production operations, media management, and distribution workflows.
• Strong experience with the C4 model, Agile development, continuous integration, and a BS in CS, EE, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience contributing to modern backend orchestration or web frontends.
• Experience writing unit and end-to-end tests for APIs and AI-agent outputs.
