Enterprise Architect (Data Security)

Location: Remote within the United States

Compensation: $121,400–$225,300 to $167,400–$310,900 USD annually, depending on U.S. geographic zone

What you will do

• Lead technical discovery sessions and assess enterprise customer environments and requirements.
• Design, document, and maintain high-level and detailed architectures, technical specifications, implementation plans, and reference architectures.
• Lead hands-on implementation of on-premises, cloud, and Kasten hirify.global solutions, including deployment oversight and post-sales support.
• Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, resources, and level-of-effort estimates with project managers and stakeholders.
• Support proofs of concept, workshops, architecture validation, troubleshooting, and partner-led implementations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Pre-Sales, Customer Success, customers, and partners to translate business goals into technical strategies.

Requirements

• Extensive IT experience in solution architecture or technical leadership.
• Deep expertise in data protection, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container security.
• Strong knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure, GCP, enterprise storage, networking, security, compliance, and IT governance.
• Experience leading digital transformation initiatives for large enterprise customers and delivering post-sales consulting or professional services.
• Required certifications include AWS or Azure Solutions Architect, VMware VCP, and CISSP or an equivalent certification.

Nice to have

• TOGAF or an equivalent enterprise architecture certification.
• hirify.global VMCE certification.
• Automation or scripting experience with PowerShell or Python.
• Familiarity with large-scale infrastructure deployments and strong database administration skills.
