Location: Southlake, Texas, United States; onsite campus role. The position is available only in the listed location, and candidates must reside there or be willing to relocate independently. Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with after-hours emergency response, weekends, holidays, and shift work as required. Occasional travel to other sites, including overnight stays, may be required.
Salary: USD $35.05–$50.00 per hour

What you will do
- Troubleshoot and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and water treatment equipment.
- Operate and maintain generators, transfer switches, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, air handlers, VAVs, FPBs, and UPS systems.
- Use building automation systems to perform adjustments, retrieve data, and resolve environmental comfort and mechanical calibration issues.
- Complete facility service requests, work orders, engineering logs, readings, documentation, and inventory administration in CMMS systems.
- Respond to incidents, operate independently, and maintain a safe, productive critical-environment facility.
- Oversee vendors during contracted maintenance and repair work and report to the Technical Facility Manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and Universal CFC certification.
- 6+ years of facility operations engineering experience, including 4+ years in critical facilities operations.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical equipment, commercial kitchen equipment, BMS, and CMMS systems.
- Knowledge of critical equipment design and operating sequences, including generators, transfer switches, and UPS systems; ability to interpret one-line drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Ability to work at heights up to and sometimes exceeding 100 feet, use lifts and ladders, stand and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds or frequently move up to 100 pounds.
- Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Experience with Class A commercial buildings.
- Trade-school certifications, completed degree programs, or training from mechanical vendors such as York or Trane.
- Electrical or mechanical license.
- Building Science education focused on electrical or mechanical operations.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, documentation, and professional judgment skills.
