Facilities Technician (Robotics)

Location: San Carlos, California, United States; on-site

What you will do

• Maintain high facility uptime through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and rapid response to infrastructure issues.
• Support HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical building systems across the site.
• Diagnose and resolve facility issues before they affect productivity, manufacturing operations, or site safety.
• Conduct inspections and maintenance programs to keep infrastructure organized, compliant, and operationally ready.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, EHS, and internal stakeholders on repairs, facility projects, and operational improvements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in facilities operations, building maintenance, manufacturing facilities, commercial buildings, or related infrastructure environments.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing building systems.
• Experience supporting HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or other building systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and determine corrective actions.
• Ability to safely use tools, ladders, lifts, and maintenance equipment, and to lift and move materials as required.
• Comfort working in fast-paced engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environments with a strong focus on safety.

Nice to have

• EPA 608 Certification or hands-on HVAC maintenance experience.
• Electrical Trainee card, electrical certification, or electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience with manufacturing, robotics, laboratory, warehouse, or industrial facilities.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs, CMMS systems, vendor management, facility expansions, construction projects, or infrastructure upgrades.
