Senior User Experience Interface Designer

Location: Remote, United States. National and international travel may be required, expected to be less than 25%.

What you will do

• Gather and synthesize customer and end-user requirements into UX concepts, interaction models, workflows, and interface designs.
• Design experiences for desktop, mobile, and embedded software platforms.
• Conduct market and audience research, co-creation sessions, and usability testing to validate design concepts.
• Create clickable prototypes and interactive design artifacts, analyze testing results, and iterate on solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, customers, and designers throughout discovery, design, and implementation.
• Develop UI design guidelines, guide visual design strategies, and advocate for user-centered practices across product teams.

Requirements

• At least 9 years of professional interaction design experience.
• At least 4 years of software application design experience across desktop and mobile platforms such as iOS, Android, Mac, or Windows.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, processes, and methodologies.
• Experience conducting usability testing and translating findings into actionable design improvements.
• Proficiency in detailed interaction design, prototyping, workflows, graphic design, and relevant design applications.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or equivalent education in Interaction Design, HCI, Information Architecture, Digital Design, or a related discipline.
• Certification in Interaction Design, HCI, Information Architecture, Digital Design, or a related field.
