Senior CX/UX Designer (AI Innovation for Tax & Accounting)

Location: USA — Coppell, Texas; hybrid work with eight office days per month within 50 miles and CT/ET time zone alignment

Salary: $85,600–$149,400 USD annually, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Lead the design of AI-powered agentic workflows for tax and accounting professionals, including tax planning, scenario analysis, projections, predictive UX, and conversational interfaces.
• Create high-fidelity interactive prototypes, simulations, wireframes, user flows, and design-system components.
• Plan and conduct user research and usability testing focused on planning, what-if analysis, and decision confidence.
• Design compliant solutions for North American tax and accounting workflows, including research, contextual guidance, and in-the-moment decision support.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and stakeholders to move designs from hypotheses to validated experiences and delivery.
• Mentor junior designers, present design rationale, and ensure adherence to privacy, security, and WCAG accessibility standards.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in the role plus at least 1 year in AI innovation.
• Experience designing AI-powered user experiences for enterprise applications and familiarity with agentic workflows, automation, machine learning concepts, and systems design.
• Advanced prototyping, wireframing, user-flow, usability-testing, and design-system integration skills.
• Experience with user research, design thinking workshops, JTBD mapping, and presenting research findings and design decisions.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, component-based systems, and AI-assisted prototyping tools.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with tax planning, compliance, accounting, or other regulated domains.
• Knowledge of North American filing status, income, deductions, and future-event planning considerations.
