Director, Product Management, Alternative Investments

Location: Onsite in San Francisco, CA; Chicago, IL; or Westlake, TX. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Salary: $200,000–$250,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Shape, launch, and manage a suite of alternative investment funds, including private credit, private equity, and private real estate.
• Support product development, product lifecycle management, product growth, and strategic direction.
• Evaluate fund, industry, market, competitive, and client trends to identify opportunities.
• Partner with product, distribution, legal, sales, client service, and other business teams.
• Support campaigns, product positioning, regulatory commitments, and supervisory activities.
• Create clear, informative content for clients, business partners, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with alternative investments such as private credit, private equity, or private real estate.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and investment products.
• Product management, product strategy, business acumen, data analysis, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and oral communication, collaboration, prioritization, and Microsoft Office skills.

Nice to have

• CFA, MBA, or Series 7 license.
• Experience with options overlay strategies and retail or institutional investment products.
• Regulatory compliance, competitive analysis, market research, and stakeholder management experience.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and interest in investment trends.
