Vice President, Product Management (Fintech)

Location: New York, New York, United States; office-based role.

Annual base salary: $180,000–$249,800.

What you will do

• Monitor application health and investigate production alerts across complex trading environments.
• Analyze application logs and take manual actions to resolve technical and functional issues.
• Investigate technical queries from Trading and Sales teams and external clients involving pricing, execution, platforms, configuration, and data.
• Support vendor applications used across front-, middle-, and back-office trading and clearing operations.
• Lead incident triage and crisis response, coordinating escalation to development and infrastructure teams.
• Follow up on incidents to ensure resolution and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Business Administration, or a related field with 3 years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting applications in electronic trading environments and managing associated operational risks.
• Experience troubleshooting complex trading and financial issues for traders and end users in a fast-paced front-office environment.
• Experience managing trading applications for availability, stability, and risk mitigation, including environments involving millions of dollars in trading risk.
• Experience running incident and Change Management processes for persistent production issues.
• Experience delivering trading application changes and enhancements while coordinating across teams and stakeholders.
